Heat-resistant, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant alloy FREA-METAL.
Alloy group with high-temperature oxidation resistance exceeding 1000℃, wear resistance maintaining HV500 at 800℃, and high-temperature corrosion resistance that rivals conventional Ni and Co-based alloys.
Conventional nickel-cobalt-based heat-resistant and wear-resistant alloys experience a significant decrease in hardness at high temperatures of 800°C and above. However, FREA-METAL alloys maintain excellent hardness even in ultra-high temperature ranges, and in addition to oxidation and wear resistance, they also possess corrosion resistance. The FREA-METAL alloy series includes a variety of types. For example: - "A," specialized for ultra-high temperature oxidation resistance - "B," excellent in high-temperature wear resistance - "C," strong against sulfuric acid corrosion and others can be selected according to specific applications. These alloys can significantly extend the lifespan of very expensive materials and frequently replaced components that have been used in harsh environments such as blast furnaces, boilers, incinerators, and fluidized beds, leading to continuous stable operations, reduced opportunity costs from long hours of operation, and decreased maintenance costs. There are clad plates and welding materials available, enabling responses to a wide range of applications for canning and hardfacing. Examples include canning for ducts, hoppers, chutes, cyclones, and hardfacing for nozzles, boiler tubes, grates, thermocouple protection tubes, and fire bars.
